Free monthly walks from Boston Manor Park

If you’re looking to boost your wellbeing, connect with nature, and meet your neighbours this summer, Boston Manor Park has just the ticket.

Starting this June, the park is bringing back its popular series of free, monthly community walks. Designed for all abilities, the walks offer a fantastic opportunity to explore local green spaces in a friendly, relaxed group setting.

The inaugural walk takes place on Saturday 6th June, running from 11:00am to 12:30pm. If you can’t make it this time, don’t worry—the walks will continue to run on the first Saturday of every single month throughout the summer.

The route
The guided route kicks off at the historic Boston Manor House, takes walkers along the scenic towpaths of the Grand Union Canal, crosses over the River Brent, and finishes up at the beautiful Osterley Park.

It’s a wonderful way to rediscover the hidden green corridors right on our doorstep while sharing walking routes and local knowledge with a group of up to 15 people.

What to bring & facilities
Because we all know how unpredictable the English weather can be, organisers advise dressing appropriately for the day and wearing a sturdy, comfortable pair of walking shoes. Don’t forget to bring a bottle of water along to stay hydrated.

If you fancy a coffee before you head out or need to use the amenities, Boston Manor House has excellent café and toilet facilities on-site, with plenty of other local spots just a short walk or bus ride away.

The monthly walks are just one part of a packed summer programme at Boston Manor Park aimed at community wellbeing. Locals can also look out for upcoming creative workshops on plants and pigments, as well as dedicated play sessions to keep the children entertained over the sunny months.
