Hounslow Creative People and Places is excited to announce the open call for Sound of Hounslow, as part of our touring exhibition programme across Hounslow’s libraries.
Developed with Hounslow Exhibition Collective, they are now inviting submissions from individual artists, musicians, DJs or audio collectives that explore Hounslow’s diaspora communities through the medium of sound. The Collective is interested in exploring the following questions…
♪ How can we actively listen to our communities to build trust and cultivate meaningful relationships?
♪ How can sound document, inspire and transport us to different times and places?
♪ What can sound reveal about a community when we move beyond words?
The full brief can be viewed below and online here.
Applications can be made via Google Form
The deadline is Sunday 17 August (23:59)
