Local MP joins Bees Trust as founding supporter

Brentford FC Community Sports Trust has officially welcomed Ruth Cadbury MP as a founding supporter of its newly established Community Supporters Club.

The move marks a significant milestone for the Trust as it seeks to build a network of dedicated local champions to help scale its life-changing programmes. The Brentford & Isleworth MP joins a growing collective of individuals and businesses committed to improving health, wellbeing, and community cohesion across Hounslow.

Cadbury’s involvement is far from a new development; she has been a consistent advocate for the Trust’s mission for several years.

From championing the ‘Kit Sponsors’ initiative to supporting RideLondon fundraising groups, the MP has been a frequent fixture at the Trust’s sports participation events and community launches. Her work has particularly focused on advocating for inclusive sporting pathways and mental wellbeing projects for young people.

Speaking on her new role, Ruth Cadbury MP said: “It’s a privilege to support the incredible work Brentford FC Community Sports Trust continues to deliver across our borough. Their impact on young people, families, and the wider community is transformational, and I’m proud to stand alongside the Trust as part of the Community Supporters Club.”

The Community Supporters Club was designed to create a sustainable future for the Trust’s diverse range of initiatives, which include education mentoring, women and girls’ football, and community safety programmes.

How to get involved
The Trust is currently looking for more local businesses and individuals to join as founding supporters. Those interested in making a difference in west London are encouraged to contact the fundraising team at fundraising@brentfordfccst.com.
