Thousands of families across the borough are celebrating this week after 96% of Hounslow students received an offer from one of their preferred secondary schools.
The figures were released on Monday 2nd March by the Pan London Admission Board, responsible for the coordination of school admissions across local authorities in London. The data shows that 90% of applicants secured one of their top three choices, with 69% getting their first-preference school.
All parents who applied on time were sent an email with the outcome of the application on Monday evening. They will need to respond to their child’s offer using the online EAdmissions portal by Monday 16th March 2026.
Those who have not been offered their first preference school will also receive a letter posted on Monday 2nd March 2026 providing more information about the process and what to do next.
Councillor Samia Chaudhary, Cabinet Member for Education, Children, Skills and Employment at Hounslow Council, said: “In Hounslow, we are extremely proud that all secondary schools are recognised by Ofsted as either ‘Outstanding’ or ‘Good’ and I am thrilled for the families and students who have secured placements in their preferred school this September. Our schools outperform the national average each year, and we continue to build on their successes year after year”
