Gunnersbury Park and Museum has announced a two-week program of resurfacing and drainage repairs starting on 23rd March. While the works aim to improve accessibility around Potomac Lake, visitors are advised to follow temporary diversions.

The improvement works, which will primarily be around Potomac Lake and the pathways parallel to Lionel Road, will last approximately two weeks. Should weather conditions or any unforeseen circumstances extend this timeframe, the Gunnersbury team will notify the public via their website and social media channels.

The works will include:
For the safety of park users, pedestrian routes will be diverted during the works and temporary signage will be in place for guidance.

“As a charity, our job is to continue to improve the park for everyone. Every investment we make in the park - including work like this - is funded through the support of our donors, our local councils, and any income we generate. We’d like to thank all of our supporters for the valuable contributions to helping us get this essential work done, and to thank our regular visitors for the patience while the works are ongoing,” says David Bowler, CEO of Gunnersbury Estate CIC.
