The British Transport Police are appealing for witnesses after a 30-year-old woman tragically died following an incident on the Victoria line at Euston Underground station on Tuesday 10th March.
Officers were called to the southbound Victoria Line platform at around 8.55am following reports of a casualty on the tracks.
Paramedics also attended and the woman was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries. Sadly, despite the best efforts of medical staff, the woman passed away in hospital on Friday 13th March. Her next of kin have been informed.
The incident is not being treated as suspicious, and a file will be prepared for the coroner.
The station would have been very busy at the time and officers believe a substantial number of people would have seen what happened but have not yet come forward to speak to police as the platform was evacuated following the incident.
If you were there and saw what happened, please contact BTP on 61016, or call 0800 40 50 40, using the reference 145 of 10 March.
