A £20,000 reward is being offered to catch the killers of 26-year-old Daneche Tison, as his unsolved 2022 murder features on the BBC’s Crimewatch Live today.

Police were called to Bruckner Street, Queen’s Park at around 02:00 on Tuesday 19th July, 2022, following reports of a shooting outside a block of flats.

Officers attended, but were unable to locate a victim or perpetrator. Mr Tison subsequently presented at hospital with gunshot wounds - where he sadly died.

Police have previously arrested several men in relation to the shooting, but nobody has ever been charged. The investigation continues.

With the fourth anniversary of Mr Tison’s death approaching, investigators are making a renewed appeal to the public.

Detective Sergeant Andy Sheppard, from Specialist Crime South, said: ‘‘Our thoughts today remain with the victim’s family and loved ones, who have had to live with the knowledge that Mr Tison’s killer is still at large.

‘‘Owing to the length of time which has elapsed, the Met has decided to offer a substantial financial reward for any information leading to the prosecution of the shooter - or anyone directly involved in the murder.

‘‘This decision demonstrates the Met’s commitment to solving every murder, and securing justice for all victims - no matter how long it takes.’’

Anyone with information about what happened is asked to call 101, quoting 1119/19MAR. To remain anonymous, please contact the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
