More express buses planned for Uxbridge Road

Transport for London is making changes to its popular SL8 and 207 bus routes in Shepherds Bush.

The good news is that there'll be more express SL8 buses along Uxbridge Road from Saturday 4 April – one every eight minutes instead of the current 10.

However, the 207 stopping service will run every seven or eight minutes, instead of six at present, after a TfL review of use.

More SL8 Superloop buses will run on weekdays (from first bus to 8.15pm) and Saturdays (10am-7pm). At other times, and on Sundays, a bus should appear every 10 minutes instead of the current 12.

The slight reduction in 207s between White City bus station and Hayes By-Pass means an extra wait at stops of up to two minutes, and an evening, Saturday and Sunday service every 10 minutes (eight at present).

If demand justifies it, TfL pledges to tweak the timetable again.
