Two taken to hospital after fire at HMO in West Ealing

Two people were taken to hospital after a fire at a house of multiple occupation (HMO) in West Ealing on Tuesday afternoon (14/04)

Firefighters were called to Northfield Avenue at 14:04 with crews from Southall, Chiswick and Heston fire stations attending the scene. The fire was extinguished by 14:31.

The fire occurred at an end-of-terraced house that had been converted into a HMO. Part of the first floor was damaged by the fire.

The fire is being treated as accidental and believed to have been caused by a lamp left too close to flammable materials.
